MUNCEP 2023 Mentor

Kevin Dagvadorj is a second-year undergraduate at DePauw University. He is from Carmel, Indiana where he lives with his parents and younger sister. On campus, Kevin is the Philanthropy chair of his fraternity, Sigma Chi. He has organized multiple successful events to raise money for charities such as the Huntsman Cancer Foundation and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. He is also a First Year Experience mentor. A position that entails guiding incoming first years through their adjustment to college. Kevin has a passion for environmentalism and is part of the Sustainability Leadership Program, where he works to make the greek chapters on campus more environmentally friendly. In his free time, Kevin co-hosts a radio show about campus life, hangs out with his friends, and enjoys traveling to new places.


Rachel Ninjbadrakh got her bachelor's degrees in Philosophy and Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley with a semester at King's College London. She has spent most of her time outside of university working in education. These include becoming a biology student instructor at UC Berkeley, working to bring science education to elementary and middle school students through organizations like the Berkeley Engineers and Mentors program (BEAM) and working with special needs students through non-profit organizations like Berkeley Youth Alternatives (BYA). For the time being, Rachel is working as a journalist at the UBPost in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

MUNCEP 2023 Mentor

David Hessen is a volunteer mentor for USAI’s MUNCEP fellows. David previously worked for USAI coordinating the China and Mongolia programs. A recent graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), David focuses on Indo-Pacific security strategy and U.S.-Asian relations with a focus on East and Southeast Asia. He has also worked in government relations for a bipartisan firm and has internship experience on the Hill and in other prominent Washington, DC think tanks.

In his free time, David enjoys reading, skiing, exploring new places in Washington, and practicing Arabic, German, and Mandarin Chinese.
