The US-Asia Institute welcomes the 14th National People’s Congress delegation to China back to the United States. Congressional staffers traveled in China from June 28 through July 7 and visited Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. The delegation was specifically focused on the energy and agriculture sectors of China. Throughout the trip, delegates attended high level meetings with leaders in government and business. They also deepened their understanding of China through enriching cultural experiences at places like the Great Wall, Gu gong, Jiulong, and on the Beijiang River.
