The US-Asia Institute is hosting the fourth session of our Northeast Asia in Focus Series this year, which will bring together regional experts and perspectives to discuss the impact of cultural and historical perspectives from Asia on foreign policy. This briefing will provide an overview of cultural underpinnings of domestic and foreign policy, as well as the historical and societal contexts by which Northeast Asian governments interact with each other and the US.
