Bob was always a favorite — what a fun and interesting guy!  He lived a long, meaningful and active life.  I’m so sorry Bob is no longer with us … but lots of happy memories are.

Sad news, indeed. Thank you for letting me know.  I will always fondly remember Bob, especially as the host of our StaffDel to China. He was so pleased, as was I, to visit Xiamen. (I believe he said that was his first visit). What a special place and an enjoyable trip.  I appreciate having the pleasure to know Bob and visit with him at USAI events.  He will be sorely missed.

It is indeed shocked to learn the passing of our dear friend Bob Jordan, it is a very sad news, and I am deeply mourned for his passing.  Please pass along my deep condolences of his passing to his family, and wish him rest in peace. Yes, Bob Jordan is a great friend.  Over the years I remained in close contact with him, and often exchanged views with him on some issues of our mutual concern,  He was such a fine and knowledgeable person whom I always learn from during our each exchange.  I always admire his enthusiasm for work and his dedication to the sound relationship between our two great countries and peoples.  He equally has a special place in my heart.  I will remember him dearly. US-Asia Institute lost a longtime supporter, and I lost a long time and great friend.  

It is very sad news that Bob Jordan has passed away. He lived a very long, beautiful, and productive life and is sorely missed by many people. 

Bob had a big impact on so many people's lives.

Bob was a wonderful gentleman, a skilled diplomat and a good friend of the Filipino people. I have missed our encounters and will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

This IS sad news.  He was a remarkably brilliant and generous man.  I’ve never forgotten how much I learned from him on my trip to China and I know that he has helped countless people learn about that country (and many others).

He was a fixture for so long that it is hard to think he is gone.  He was a great man. 

Bob was a good friend to USAI and a fun travel partner.

I’m so sad to hear. But I know he is at peace.  What a wonderful special person Bob was.  I am honored and grateful to have known him and been the beneficiary of his wisdom and humor.  He taught me so much!  Please let his family know Bob was a light in the world that made things bright for so many people.  What an amazing life.  I’m so grateful to have know him.

Remarkable person, career and life. He will be missed.  He meant so much to the Institute.  Go Sox.

What an incredible life!  I am so thankful we got to be with him on many trips to DC.

He was such a gentleman, kind and caring.  He had a long life but will be missed.
