SOPHIA KHAN

Sophia Kahn is a rising senior at Middlebury College, pursuing a major in International and Global Studies with a focus on Global Migrations and Diasporas. She has previously worked as a Civic Changemakers Intern in DC and studied abroad in Taiwan during the fall of her junior year. At Middlebury, Sophia heads the newsletter and social media for Migrant Justice at Middlebury (a student organization) and serves as event chair for her Creating Art Together club. She is also an active member of her college’s environmental advocacy organization and volunteers at the Open Door Clinic off campus. As a dual U.S.-Singaporean citizen, Sophia feels strongly about celebrating cross-cultural exchange while also recognizing that they occur in a context in which participants’ legal personhood must be secured. In her free time, Sophia enjoys painting, printmaking and reading fantasy novels.
Kinanti Anjani
Program Placement:
Kin Anjani is a junior at George Washington University, double majoring in International Affairs and Political Science with a concentration in Global Public Health, and minoring in Nutrition. She is originally from Indonesia, grew up in Singapore, and is currently based in Washington, DC. Her academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of public health and food regulation. In the future, she plans to pursue a JD to specialize in food law.
