New Congressional Staff Briefing on Asian Affairs

The US-Asia Institute hosted a New Congressional Staff Briefing on Asian Affairs on January 17, 2019 to provide new Congressional staffers a broad overview about current events and trends in Asia and US-Asia relations. Silvia Spring of Airbnb moderated a panel that discussed topics including US-China trade conflicts, the importance of Indonesia, and Congress’s role in shaping US-Asia relations. We would like to thank our speakers Robert Daly of the Kissinger Institute on China and the Untied States, Erin Ennis of the US-China Business Council, and Murray Hiebert of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, for sharing their expertise with the audience. Thank you to all of our diplomatic friends in attendance from Brunei and Myanmar.
