On May 2, 2019, the US-Asia Institute and AmCham China participated in a reception with Congressional advisors. The reception celebrated both the success of the AmChina Delegation to Washington, D.C. and the return of Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) delegations 120, 121, 122, 123, and 124. The program began with opening remarks from both Ben Wu, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of USAI, and Timothy Stratford, Chairman of AmCham China.

Representatives of the five delegations shared their experiences and stories. Throughout the evening, guests were able to enjoy Chinese food, engage in informal conversations with the American Chamber of Commerce in China and top business and thought leaders from American enterprises operating on the ground in China, and reunite with participants from their delegations.
