This briefing featured speakers Bryan Burack, Professional Staff Member and Counsel, House Foreign Affairs Committee, Republican Staff, Theresa Lou, Professional Staff Member House Foreign Affairs Committee Majority Staff, Subcommittee on Asia, the Pacific, Central Asia and Nonproliferation, Mark Akpaninyie, Policy Analyst, House Foreign Affairs Committee, Majority Staff, and Julie Chon, Nonresident Senior Fellow, Atlantic Council’s GeoEconomics Center, Senior Advisor, Moore Capital Management, and was moderated by Glenn Lau-Kee, Chairman of US-Asia Institute. Diplomats and speakers gave an update on Congressional priorities for Asia from perspectives within Capitol Hill.
