Aug. 6, 2018 - Doris Xu, USAI Summer 2018 Program Assistant and senior at George Washington University, was recently named the President of Global China Connection (GCC) for the 2018-2019 academic year. Doris is the first female GCC President in the organization’s ten-year history.
Doris was selected after multiple rounds of interviews with Trustees and Senior Advisors, reference checks, and a written assignment.
As President, Doris will serve GCC’s 60+ chapters, 2000+ members, and 7000+ alumni. Founded in 2008, Global China Connection (GCC) is the world’s largest, student-run 501c)3 nonprofit organization for university students and young professionals of all nationalities looking to engage China’s emergence in the world.
