The U.S.-China Regional Dialogue Series Forum on Innovation in Energy, the Environment, and Sustainability takes place on March 2, 2022 in person in Washington, D.C. or via live virtual broadcast. Together, the US-Asia Institute and the Sands Corp. are convening The US-China Regional Dialogue Series to build understanding in the bilateral relationship with a particular focus on issues of commerce and trade. The regional dialogues are designed to bring together federal, state and local government officials, business leaders, community groups, and thought leaders from both the United States and China to increase communication at the national, regional and local levels. These dialogues provide a forum to engage on topics of mutual interest and concern, examine areas of potential cooperation, and explore paths forward.

The US-Asia Institute hosted the second in a series of US-China Regional Dialogues October 6-7, 2021. This forum, held in Las Vegas, focused on the important topic of Tourism, Hospitality and Cultural Exchange between the two countries with a special emphasis on post-COVID opportunities and challenges.

NEBRASKA AGRICULTURAL TRADE FORUM
Hosted by the US-Asia Institute, and sponsored by the Sands Corp., this virtual U.S.-China engagement took place on May 4 at 1:00 - 5:15 PM CT/2:00 - 6:15 PM EDT in Lincoln, Nebraska and brought together governmental leaders, agricultural groups, agribusiness, and policy experts. THE US-CHINA REGIONAL DIALOGUE SERIES
The US-Asia Institute, with its long history of constructive engagement, educational programming and unique convening platform, and the Sands Corp., through its corporate social responsibility efforts, have joined together to establish The US-China Regional Dialogue Series to build understanding in the bilateral relationship based on regional concerns and interests, with a particular focus on issues of commerce and trade.
Within the context of the opportunities and challenges in today’s bilateral relationship, these regional dialogues will be organized across the country to bring together government officials, business leaders, community group representatives and thought leaders from both countries to increase communication at the national, regional and local levels. Each meeting will offer a forum to engage on topics of mutual interest and concern through the discussion of challenges as well as opportunities and paths forward in areas of potential cooperation and collaboration.
